On February 17, 2026, students from across Lenawee County gathered for the Lenawee Regional Challenge: You Be the Solution, hosted by the Lenawee Intermediate School District (LISD). This exciting STEM competition challenges middle school students to think beyond the textbook — encouraging them to apply science concepts to real-world problems and present innovative solutions.
Anderson Development Company was proud to once again support this impactful event as a sponsor alongside PPG, Lenawee Now’s ALIGN Lenawee Talent Consortium, Evonik, W2Fuel, Wacker, LISD, and Adrian Public Schools. Events like this reflect something we deeply believe in: today’s students are tomorrow’s innovators.
Unlike traditional science competitions, You Be the Solution pushes students to think critically about sustainability, technology, and community challenges. Teams collaborate, analyze data, communicate ideas, and demonstrate how science can be used to improve the world around them. The level of creativity and confidence displayed by these young problem-solvers was truly impressive.
We were especially proud to have two of our team members volunteering at this year’s event; Rahul Holla, Operations Excellence Leader and Dehui Han, Senior Resin Innovation Manager.
Their participation reflects ADC’s ongoing commitment to STEM education and to building meaningful connections between industry professionals and students. By volunteering their time and expertise, Rahul and Dehui helped provide encouragement, real-world perspective, and mentorship to participants exploring careers in science and engineering.
As a company rooted in innovation, materials science, and hands-on technical expertise, we understand the importance of nurturing curiosity at an early age. Supporting programs like You Be the Solution helps ensure the next generation has the confidence and critical-thinking skills to tackle tomorrow’s challenges.
We extend our congratulations to all of the students who participated and thank LISD and the event sponsors for making this opportunity possible.
We look forward to continuing our involvement in STEM initiatives that inspire creativity, collaboration, and scientific discovery in our community.
