Almatex AP-4411 is an experimental epoxy functional acrylic (GMA acrylic) resin with some primary hydroxyl functional polyester side chain. It is designed to improve the compatibility with polyester powder coatings. In addition to the matched flow and reactivity with the most used PD7610, this AP-4411 also offer better pigmentation, flexibility, and adhesion compare to PD7610. The mechanical properties are further improved when formulate Almatex-4411 with block isocyanate in addition to common polycarboxylic acids as curative.
