Almatex PD-7610 is a general purpose grade of solid, epoxy functional acrylic (GMA acrylic) resin for use in thermosetting powder coatings requiring a high degree of outdoor durability. Wheel clears, automotive trim, and automotive primer-surfacer are typical applications. The most used curative for PD7610 is 1,12-dodecanedioic acid (DDDA) to produce high gloss, smoothness, and clarity clear coatings. Other polycarboxylic acids and polyanhydrides can also be used as curatives for specific coating properties.
