Almatex PD-7690 is a solid, epoxy functional acrylic (GMA acrylic) with a higher GMA contents than Almatex PD-7610. PD7690 also has a low level of polar modification to enhance pigment wetting and adhesion. It may be used in thermosetting powder coating application requiring the same high durability as PD7610 based powder coatings. The shelf life of PD7690 is generally shorter than most other conventional GMA acrylics. For best consistent coating results, consuming PD7690 within one year from delivery is recommended.
