Almatex PD-9200 is a solid, lower cost, epoxy functional acrylic (GMA acrylic) resin for powder coating applications. It has less GMA contents, higher molecular weight, but similar melt viscosity and reactivity compared to Almatex PD7610. Although its lower cost, PD9200 should still offer good weather durability as most GMA acrylics when it is cured with conventional curative such as 1,12-dodecanedioic acid (DDDA) and suitable UVA/HALS addotive package.
